Olive oil was nice

I just ordered the Liquid Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil after a friend told me about it. It got to me in about five days, which was pretty quick. The oil tastes really good, much better than what I usually buy at the store. The bottle looked nice too. No complaints, it was a smooth purchase.

Best cooking class ever!

I absolutely loved the Private Cooking Lesson I took! It was an incredible experience, so personalized and fun. I made Homemade Pasta and some Artisanal Sauces, and the chef was just wonderful. I learned so much and had such a blast. I am definitely going to book another class next time I'm in Italy, maybe even try one of their Agriturismo Stays. I've already told my sister she has to do this on her next trip!

Great class, good olive oil

I booked the Pasta Making Class in Florence and also ordered some Liquid Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil to be shipped home. The booking process online was straightforward, and I received a confirmation email quickly. The class itself was fantastic; the instructor was knowledgeable and patient, and I learned to make some really delicious pasta. The olive oil arrived about 7 days later to my home in New York, well-packaged and intact. It tasted amazing, very fresh. My only minor feedback is that the directions to the class could have been a bit clearer on the website, I had to double-check Google Maps. Overall, a really positive experience.

Always a good time

This was my third time using The Accidental Tourist, I came back for another Tuscan Countryside Cooking Experience. Each time it's been consistently excellent. The instructors are always engaging, and the food we make is so good. I appreciate that they keep the group sizes manageable, so you get plenty of hands-on time. I've also done a Vineyard Tour with them before. They're reliable, and I know I'm going to have a quality experience every time. That's why I keep coming back.

Hey, thinking about booking the pasta class for a trip next spring. Does anyone know if they offer any kind of early bird deal or something similar if I book it way in advance?

S Sam J. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, I think they sometimes do. I got a small discount for booking a couple months out last year for the olive oil experience. It wasn't a huge amount but every little bit helps!

Most of their discounts seem to be applied automatically for certain packages or if you're a group. Don't expect to find a coupon code floating around though, those are super rare for them.

Are these guys actually a real company? Or one of those fly-by-night operations that pops up then vanishes? Just trying to make sure before I drop a bunch of money on a trip.

They're totally legit. Been around for ages. Met the owners when I was there, lovely people and super passionate.

Nah, they're the real deal. I've done their cooking class and stayed in their guest housing. Very professional and a really authentic experience, not some shady business.

Considering booking a class for a bachelorette party, so there'd be like 8-10 of us. Do they do any group discounts for that kind of thing?

M Matt H. 2 weeks ago
They definitely have group rates! It's one of their main ways of giving discounts. You should see it applied when you're booking if you put in the number of people.

Yeah, if you hit a certain number of people, they usually automatically give you a bit off. I don't think you need a special code or anything.

Does anyone know if the pasta making class is suitable for kids? I've got a 9-year-old who's obsessed with cooking and I'd love to bring her along.

B Betty Jones 3 weeks ago
Yes! My friend took her 10-year-old and they both had a blast. The instructors are really good with them.

They're pretty accommodating. I saw some families there when I went, and the kids seemed to be having a great time getting their hands messy with the dough.

Quick question about the olive oil. Is that 'Liquid Gold' stuff actually good? Or is it just another tourist trap product? I'm trying to decide between this and just buying some from a local market once I'm there.

E Eric S. 1 month ago
Totally legit. It's proper extra virgin, not that fake stuff. You can really taste the difference compared to what you get in regular stores. I bought a bottle and regret not getting more.

It's from their own olive groves right there. You can even do a tour and see where it comes from. Definitely not a trap, it's the real deal and super fresh.
